Who is in the Dax Designs team?

Liz heads up the team and Jill Dax takes a supporting role in some projects particularly any involving period properties and requirements for bespoke furniture, which is where her particular expertise lies.

Our cleaning team provide fabulous support after each Style Service if you have chosen for us to implement the chosen scheme and play a big part in the decluttering process of the Sort and Stage Services

We work really closely with a great team of tradespeople and can organise or recommend handymen, electricians, curtain makers and gardeners etc etc

If you have chosen for us to complete any aspects of the project in your home then you will be advised and consulted as to who will be onsite at what times.

 

Will you need to come to my house?

If you live within a 10 mile radius of Maidenhead then we can visit you at your property at no additional charge.  We pride ourselves on offering a personal tailored service and we really get to understand your requirements and get a feel for the property if we visit you at home initially.  It also means we can take any measurements and you dont have to!  After that we can either come and visit you or if you would prefer we can conduct any consultation over Skype or email.

If you live further afield then we can travel (with additional costs) or we can provide the same Style Service to you with full plans via email and Skype.

 

My home is a real mess/we've just moved - should I tidy before you come round?

Well this actually doesn't get asked much but we know it's definitely what goes through your mind before you call us!  The answer is 'don't worry'! That is what we are here for....yes clear the dirty plates and pick up the laundry but the drawers you haven't looked in for months, the paperwork spread over the desk, the piles of toys overflowing.....that's what we do....sort it and style it.

 

I work and am rarely at home during the day, can this work for me?

Yes, evening and weekend appointments are ideal for us but we can be very flexible to suit you.  We also offer the option of a Skype and Email service.

 

How can I purchase the recommended furniture and products?

The interactive presentations with the Style Service and Stage Service are accessible from all mobile devices and laptops and include a 'click through shopping list' which allows you to simply click the image and purchase the item direct from the store.

Prices are always correct at time of sending through the plan but as we use third parties we cannot always promise availibility of each item but we will always help to source an alternative if this happens within 4 weeks of your plan being recieved.

 

How long does it take to get my plan?

Normally your plan will be with you within 5 working days and if you are asking us to complete any work onsite then we will advise lead times for Style, Sort and Stage services when you make the initial call.
